D-ring rubber seals have a D-shaped cross-section, which is essentially an O-ring with a square bottom. They provide a larger bottom contact area, and the flat bottom ensures better stability in the groove, eliminating the possibility of twisting and spiral failure.
The D-ring can provide a good sealing effect in reciprocating motion, such as hydraulic and pneumatic piston rod seals. It is not easy to twist or damage during use. When working at low temperatures, its contact pressure is greater than that of the O-ring, and it is not easy to be bitten off. It is a rubber seal with good self-sealing performance.
